Laura Berger, MS, RDN, LD, ACSM EP-C, specializes in Integrative and Functional medicine, and uses this as the basis of her approach for weight loss and healing from disorders such as:

With over 10 years of experience counseling clients in health and weight loss, Laura knows what it takes for you to be successful long term with your goals. Information is great but coaching is what makes the difference. Our nutrition program includes accountability, behavioral counseling and strategizing that identifies problem areas and barriers to success to ensure you will lose weight, improve your health, and have the skills to maintain your progress. Follow-up sessions provide continued accountability and refinement of the initial nutrition plan to keep you on-track and working towards long-term success. Food is personal, but together, we can create new experiences.

What to Expect from a NuFit Nutrition program:

Step 1: Meet for an Initial Consultation

Here we will meet for about 90 minutes to discuss your personal nutrition experiences and goals. Laura will do a health and dietary assessment to come up with your “Nutrition Prescription Plan”, a tailored nutrition plan based on your needs and goals.

Step 2: Customized Coaching

With the 3 Month Healthy For Life Nutrition Coaching, you will meet with Laura for 20-30 minute bi-weekly phone check ins following the initial consult to coach you through the process of change, work through your challenges, and stay accountable to your healthy habits. This coaching is what takes you from inconsistent health behaviors to seeing consistent weight loss and improvements in your health.

Step 3: Meal Plans and Resources

In addition to your nutrition plan and coaching, the 3-month Healthy for Life Program includes recipes, meal plans, grocery list, and a Simple Balanced Meals sheet to help you create new go-to healthy meals for you and your family. Laura prioritizes teaching you HOW to eat, not just how to follow recipes, which makes healthy living sustainable long term
